Birthday Blessings

It is only 7:30, my kids are still in bed and I have already had the most blessed birthday! My dear friend Linda gave me a wonderful birthday post. Thank you Linda. I am touched. Niki sent me a wonderful e-card..I giggled both times I saw it (I had to show Sweet Hubby), and my life long friend Sue sent me a wonderfully touching e-mail that brought tears to my eyes. My family gave me gifts yesterday since Sweet Hubby will work morning til night. I had an actual list this year...usually I do not have anything I need. This year I got my Reynold Wrap freezer system, a flour sifter, and a garlic press. I also got a beautiful brown skirt, a new top, and some new shoes. (I had picked those out myself)

My good friend Coleen spent the afternoon with me yesterday...what a great friend to push that second grocery cart!!! She brought me my favorite Mary Kay scents of Sugar scrub, body wash and lotion. I plan a quiet day doing my most favorite things...schooling and caring for my home. No dinner prep tonight as my mom, sister and aunt are bringing dinner here for a girls night. Mom planned to bring a cake from the store bakery, but I told her I wanted to make Dani's Cinnamon Rolls. I love Cinnabons and these are suppose to be just as good if not better. I also want to make Cheryl and Dani's Melt In Your Mouth Cookies today, so I plan to spend some time in the kitchen baking. Charlotte and Zach will join me for sure! I should have asked for a Dani for my birthday!!! Well I am raising a Charlotte who I pray is as much a blessing as Dani is...my Charlotte loves to bake and cook, so I have high hopes!!
