Patty at Morning Ramble has given us the honor of adding some quilt blocks to a special "Prayer and Good Thoughts Quilt" for her precious Granddaughter Mei Ling. Mei Ling will be undergoing her 7th surgery soon and is yet to turn 2 years old. I feel so privileged to be able to add my own prayer blocks to her little quilt. I am adding 4...one to represent all the "girls" in my family, Me, Rachel, Charlotte, and Emerson. (Us girls need to stick together.) If you click on the link above, you will see how you can add your own 6 1/2" (6 inch finished) block to Mei Ling's beautiful quilt. (think pink and purple) I can't wait to see it finished!!

Bren,
Thank you so much for sharing about Mei-Lings quilt.
Your blocks are beautiful and what a great cause.
I visited a new quilt shop in my area today. They've been open 18 months and of course I just moved back. They are much closer than the one downtown and it is a much friendlier shop. I can't wait to get acquainted with some quilters through their classes.

Hi Bren,
How are you doing? How has your week been and what are your plans for this weekend?
This has been a fairly busy week and I am working this afternoon. Next week is going to be busy also especially as I have tons of paperwork to sort out and get posted. Appointments to make too.
Take care and hopefully catch up with you soon.
Hugs
