The Season of Trauma

Those of you who have read here for a while, know that my daughter spent her first three formative years saturated in witchcraft, vampirism, and satanism. Even though Fall is the most beautiful time of the year in my part of the country, it has also become a time of warfare. It is time, once again, for me to gird myself up in the full armour of God and fight the fight that has become my seasonal nightmare. Halloween decorations are going up all around us, and the triggers are beginning. Somehow, I forgot. I was not prepared, so when I was confronted with the results that I see every year, I was taken off guard.
I will remind myself of what kind of enemy I have and also what kind of God I have. What may appear in the flesh as powerful, really is not. What may appear as weak, is really most powerful! If that makes no sense to you, you have never really confronted the enemy of God's people.
Here is a sample of what I mean.

Remember Charlotte during this month. Pray peace for her mind and her spirit.

ps my daughter pulled out the beautiful fall table runner that I "won" last fall. It is on our table and reminds me of you and your sweet prayers during our loss of Jeremiah. (remember- i received it on the day he was to be due?) We love it!!

I've thought of Charlotte this week (as I have done every October since you shared her story) I will pray for her everytime I see a disturbing "decoration" Libby

We have brand new next door neighbors in our duplex as of last weekend. They are two seemingly nice college girls. But boy it irked me when they hung a witch on their front door for halloween...it immediately made me think of Charlotte. I've been praying for her along with the babies!

I thought of Charlotte when I saw the decorations coming out in the stores. Praying for you both. I pray that God will someday soon erase that memory from Charlotte's mind. Hugs to you both, Karen

You are both in my thoughts.
I did not watch the video. To see the still picture was enough.

We pray year round Bren! I was just telling the kids today that we are now in the time of year when we need to pray especially hard for dear Charlotte...and we will. I'm praying a hedge of protection around all of you, and peace in your home during this season. Love to all!

Remember this, All things come from God and no one or nothing has power over Him. Even the devil can NOT make a move without God's consent!
