Stepping Back and Taking a Break

My sister in law, Sherry, has been here all week and we have had some nice visits. It has made me look at some things and I think I need/want to take a step back from my blog. It is no secret (do I have any of those?) that the last several months have been difficult for me....dealing with constant pain in my jaw from grinding, loss of family, losing Hope, and other losses that are unmentioned. My blog is meant to be a place to share my family and life so that some day my children and grandchildren can look back on all the wonderful times. For now, I think I have shared enough of that. My heart is just not in it right now. Maybe that will change down the road. For now, I will enjoy reading your blogs and keeping up with your lives and quilts. I need a break.

Here are a couple of cousin pics.....family is so important and I am so blessed that my children have lots of extended family to connect with.

I do intend to keep in touch however! :)

Bren, I know what you mean...I went through a difficult time last summer and had to slow down on my blogging, it just needed to be done. Take all the time you need, I'll be praying for you. ((Hugs))

I have taken such pleasure in reading about your strong, loving family over the past two years. I know that you will find some peace and rest, and I can only hope you'll be able to return to us renewed!

Bren,
Thanks for sharing your heart and family with us. You have blessed many - including me.

You will be missed and many of us will be praying for you. I look forward to your return, in God's timing. Meanwhile love on that sweet family of yours, crank out some quilting projects and stay at the feet of Jesus!

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 15:13

blessings to you, my friend!

I just took a break as well I felt God telling me to focus more on Him so I am now stepping slowly back asking him for direction as I do it, but am going to limit it a good deal more than I was. Blessings to you and yours Bren take care!

I will miss you also, but understand. Blogging is quite demanding. Have enjoyed being a part of your life and have been encouraged by you many times. You have a gorgeous family. From someone who does not have any extended family in my life at all, you are a lucky lady. Don't stay away too long. xxoo

Loving you, I understand that trial are tough. Loss is painful and in need of healing all those wounds left behind.
There will be a day maybe 20 years but then it will be as tomorrow.
Hope. Now hope deferred makes the heart sick. So know sickness needs healing.
