Here We Go

I am still sick. Better, but still sick. Now my sweet Kyle has that ugly stomach bug full force. He is not good with sickness...very dramatic and even faints from throwing up. So far, he has not passed out, but he has hyperventilated more than once. Oh, pray for my son (and for me). I sent the little kids to bed with big plastic bowls...just in case.
I did get the table topper hand quilted and the binding on. While doing the machine part of the binding, I decided to prep my next hand work project. I have one more section of bias (vine) to put on the border of the Underground Railroad Sampler, then I can add the flowers and leaves.I had it already cut, so making the bias was quick...well the sewing and trimming part anyway.I still have to press it and my tummy was not doing so great at that moment so I will go back to it tomorrow. I did sit this evening (between running to and from Kyle) and did the hand work on the binding which finished the topper. This picture is awful. The lighting is not great cause it is dark outside. It is done and now I can cross it off my list of UFO's. Well I need to go check on Kyle and see if maybe he could take his meds. Pray he can at least hold his seizure meds down tonight. Also that he would be able to sleep. He is 2 floors below me and does not want to sleep up here. I have his cell phone next to him so he can call me if he needs me in the night. UGH!!!! Zach just came in and said his tummy is making weird noises (it was, I could hear it across the room), and Charlotte has a headache, which is how Rachel's flu started. Here we go......
Good Night and blessings to you!!

Praying for your family! My stepbrother is much like Kyle - he doesn't deal with any sickness well, especially stomach things. It's hard on Mom, especially when she's sick too. Hang in there!

Oh Bren, I am so sorry you all are going through this. Of course I will be praying for Kyle, Zachary, and Charlotte. Hope you dh avoids it. My dh was able to avoid the flu that I had around Christmas time. I think he hid from me. (grin) Your little table topper is just lovely. And that URR quilt is so fabulous. I know you will have fun with it. Hang in there my friend. Hopefully this will pass through your family quickly and everything can get back to normal.
