PawPaw and I went up to the hospital to visit our little Emerson. She seemed much better, except for the awful coughing fit she had while we were there! She loved the big hospital crib and seemed to enjoy crawling from one end to the other. We brought her a pink elephant that is soooooo soft and she hugged it. It was very sweet. Her stridors are gone and she is sounding good. She was released while we were there and will be on steroids for 5 days. Please continue to pray healing for her. That cough gags her and she is in visible pain from it. TJ will stay with us for at least another day so he does not catch that nasty croup!!!
Cheryl put it perfectly....it has been a roller coaster few days!! I am ready to get off this ride!!!
God is faithful and what an awesome healer He is!!
Another praise....my mother in love is coming home from rehab on Wednesday. Her hip replacement is doing well.

Hooray! I'm glad to hear she is home again.
What a great picture of you two!
Praise the Lord she's home and doing much better. When my younger son, Andrew, was a baby, he had RSV and was in the hospital for 3 days. I was so upset, but the nurses kept telling me that babies get sick quickly and get well quickly. I'm glad that proved true with Emerson!
so glad she is home safe and sound :)
Yeah, such wonderful news!!! Joining you in prayers of thanksgiving and praise!! We'll keep praying for her continued health.
Hooray for awesome news!
I'm so glad to hear all is well. I'll be keeping her and your family in prayer.

Hooray Bren, it's so wonderful to hear that your family is well on the road to recovery. I just love it when little ones gives "loves" to a stuffed toy.

Goodness, Bren, I haven't been reading blogs much this week and missed this. I am so thankful that Emerson is doing better. How scary! I definitely know that croup bark. Our kids had it once in a while when they were little. Glad you are getting your joy for quilting back. I think mine is coming back too. LOL I hope you have a good day, that Emerson continues to improve, and that everyone avoids the flu. I'll be praying for the young girls you teach. Winona
so glad she's better!
