Christmas Decorations

The stockings are hung.....

....the angel is singing.....

....the table is set.....

....and even the floral couch has had a touch of Christmas cheer. Two Santa pillows and a Christmas tree pillow, will do much to change the look of even the most "springy" of fabrics!

Kyle, Charlotte, and Zachary, decorated the tree 100% on their own this year (except the lights, which Sweetheart did) Notice the quilt frame is down....it's ok, really.I am sorry to say, I did not do one thing. I think I was holed up in my sewing room that day. It is perfectly ok....they had a blast and that is all that matters! I must say they did a wonderful job.
I got 2 more bindings on....and another is almost done. That makes...let me count....6 total. I still need to make 2 more. I will piece them today. Here are the latest 2 in all their glory.....We also had the pleasure of grandkids this weekend. TJ, as usual, was too busy playing to be bothered with the camera, though he did spend more time with us that off with the kids. Emerson enjoyed a snack with her daddy and a bit of the Bears game.It is snowing LIKE CRAZY today. We are to get 8-12 inches by tomorrow with severe winds and white out conditions starting in the middle of the night. Pray for my son who will be on the road traveling to and from work in the midst of it all. I plan to stay in and work on some more quilting. Until next time, remember the reason for the season.....
"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."

Luke 1:32-33

Hope things are going better for you. Love your minis. They are wonderful. That was good for the kids to get to work together and know they were working to please mom and make her proud of them. You are getting snow, us rain. Not ready for any of it myself.

The kids did a great job on the tree and your home looks so lovely. It looks like Emerson and Daddy are discussing the last play on the football game LOL.

We just got our tree up last night. And I use the term "we" loosely! Beth did all the decorating. Today I'll take down the rest of my fall stuff and decorate our mantel. I seem to have lost my Christmas mojo somewhere down through the years.

Your decorations are beautiful! Love that angel singing!
