What Day Is It, Anyway?

My days are all looking the same. Homeschool, quilting, housework, meal prep.None of that is a bad thing. In fact, they are all worth while things to do with my days.
Mother Nature had me down for 2 days, unable to do any of the above without great effort. Still, I did it. Math concepts were mastered, new words were spelled, prepositions were underlined, and God's Word was opened."Tomorrow" in my house will look much like it did today, and things will get accomplished. I am finding God will give you the strength you need for that day, and that day alone. I have given up expecting a weeks worth of strength, and focus only on what I need for this day.
Today is taken care of. I needed more strength than I thought I would, but right when I needed it, it was there for me. HE was there for me. When I am weak, my God is strong for me.
Thank you God, that You are my strength.

So true! Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.
Very studious children in the photos, not a one cracked a grin for the camera.
Your quilting is so neat and pretty, love the designs.

Bren, this is all so true! Especially when we are dealing with health issues.

Praise God that His mercies are NEW EVERY MORNING! :o)

I think of you often (even though my comments have been scarce lately.) Praying for you, too!

The kids look studious, the quilting is beautiful and I'm sure all the food was gobbled up, so I would say your day was successful if not calm :0)

Bren,

I can't read you latest post. Under my Reading List it shows your newest post "Loss and Gain". When I click on it,it brings up "page not found" & "does not exist". When I click on just your blog name, it brings up this post. Don't know what's going on.

Tahnks for your reply to my question. I kind of panicked thinking you deleted your blog or something.

I respect your reason for deleting that post.... life can be pretty "raw"sometimes. Your struggles just might be the comfort though, for someone who is struggling in a simialr situation. I think many of your posts are helpful.

Bren,
I pray you are feeling better! And as someone said, a bad day at home is better than any day at school! My daughter told me "thank you" the other day for keeping her out of school. That was all I needed to keep going, and I guess God knew she needed to tell me that that day. :-)
God Bless.
