Oh.my.goodness. How cute is that! You did such a great job on this quilt, and that is no surprise! Your DIL will love it, and baby Emerson will love being cuddled in it, or having it hung on her wall! So sorry I haven't been by lately. We've had a rough couple weeks. I'm lucky to even get to post on my own blog! I'll be by more often...off to read some more of your posts!

Wow! That was quick! I think she'll love it.
A good friend of mine has one just like it that she received when she was a baby. She loved it, slept with it all the time. It now has holes worn in it and is all tattered. You can tell it was loved! I think your grandbaby will love it just as much.

Good job and it's adorable. I'm sure it will be Emerson's favourite blankie.

Bren,
That's so cute!!! I love it and your granddaughter certainly will.
Thx for the advice. I do sit time with Halley at home. She is up to 20 minutes without getting out of her chair, which is wonderful. The problem seems to be that she relates sit time to the specific chair that she is in. I guess I should not make her sit in that specific chair every time. What do you think? Sunday, she sat in "big" church with us. She did pretty well, but my husband did have to take her out once to discipline her. When she came back she did so much better. When she would get antsy, her dad would give her the look and she would straighten up. I just don't seem to have that kind of power! I will stop giving her food in the store b/c I can see how she will expect that everytime. I'll just keep at it and trust that God will teach both of us in time.
Thx so much. Let me know if you think of anything else.
