The Big Project-Phase 1

Phase one of my big project should be no surprise to anyone who has read here for very long. Though I have been in this room for 3 years now, this will be the 7th time in 9 years my sewing room will be moved (in this house)....over the years it is too many times to count.
That pretty border will not do for the new occupant, nor will the wall color.
Here are today's helpers..... .....not really helping at all. That big desk is staying in the room, so I had to empty it's contents out. Whew! This is a bigger job than I thought. I still have not replaced that broken glass panel in Grandma's hutch. The hutch is emptied out and ready to be moved tomorrow. It comes apart into 2 pieces, which is good, because it is a heavy booger!Stay tuned for phase 2!

I can't wait to see the project as it progresses...you'll love your new digs!

Send me locating vibes, I've LOST my roman shade blocks. I have no stinking idea where they are, I've looked everywhere I can think of!

I'll watch for the next update, the big project will give your poor fingers a break!

Love ya!

Taking wall paper down is NOT fun, nor is painting (I'll miss the green wall) but I will be interested in seeing the end results :0)

The process may not be fun but you have a clean, organized new room just waiting for you, then you'll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Hang in there ;)

Now, I wonder what you're up to with this change.
I loved that wallpaper border.
If you didn't want to replace that glass, I'd take the one out of the other side and let them be display shelves.

It is a LOT of work to move the sewing room, I know, I have done that 3 times last few years!
