Welcome to my 100th post g!veaway...(I think I am being sneaky with the ! in place of the i for all the googlers). I can not begin to tell you how much fun blogging has been for me. I have so enjoyed reading all the blogs I subscribe to and hope I have given you a little bit of the same. To show my appreciation I want to offer 2 prizes. In order to win you must leave a comment on this post. Let me know 1 thing you remember as being memorable about this blog. It can be a picture you saw here, or a post you read...just 1 thing you remember that brought you some emotion...a smile or a tear, or even an eyeroll!! Your answer does not determine the winners... I will draw 2 names on Wednesday after lunch...I figure if you have not visited in 3 days, you probably won't be back anyway!! The drawing is open to all my readers overseas, of course! Here are the prizes... A bag made by moi, and a book of 27 quilting patterns called "The Prairie Sampler".
And prize #2... Another hand made bag (I am no longer bagaphobic...can you tell?) and a Hallmark recipe box. Here is a close up of the stitchery on the bag. So just leave a comment telling 1 thing that has meant something to you regarding this blog before Wednesday noon! Thank you again for making my blogging experience so wonderful!!

WooHoo!
As you already know your blog has touched me deeply. But I must say yesterdays post with the kitten looking in the mirror seeing a lion made me think of two great things. The first is "God is not finished with me yet" and "The King is watching over us." I can see myself looking in the mirror and knowing that I am not yet who God wants me to be, but one day I will know His plan. Thanks for your Blog Bren.
Congrats on your 100th blog! I had just started exploring the blogging world when I ran across yours. I remember reading about how Charlotte and Zachary came into your families lives. Tears came to my eyes as I read the posts. I have read your blog since then, even though I have only recently started to post comments. Thank you for sharing your heart!
You have been chatty! LOL
I remember lots of things...I love the trips down memory lane as I've seen and/or heard about so many of the things you talk about.
I also enjoy hearing about your journey as you, in turn, struggle through things and then find peace.
Bren, I love your blog. I loved the stories you posted about Charlotte and Zachary. I also loved the post about giving up daytime soaps. How's that going, by the way? You do have some touching posts. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Blessings,
Winona
Congrats!!!!!!!!! 100 blog entries. One thing I remember, your story about your daughter and the follow up on your son. What a generous heart you have. Oh yeah, and As The World Turns, I wonder how Carley is doing. I did see it on Friday, Jack now knows she has a brain tumor and so do the kids. What drama.
Congratulations on your 100th post!!
There are many things I like and remember about your blog - of course my favourite is the story behind how you became the mother to Charlotte and Zachary. And the beautiful picture of you and your sister when you were children. I just love those pictures.
Congrats! I am only a few months into blogging myself so 100 blogs seems like quite an accomplishment! I suppose the post that I can most relate to is the As The World Turns story. Many years ago I would let my kids watch TV from 9 - 12 then off for naps they went and somehow I figured I deserved 3 hours of All My Children, One Life to Live and Santa Barbara for myself. What a waste of time and I didn't even know it!
I will remember to substitute olive oil for the butter in my bread dough next time - thanks!
Congratulations on reaching your 100th post. That is a milestone for sure!

Happy blogiversary, Bren! Wow, a 100 posts since June! You have been busy typing, and I've loved reading :o) Please keep it up! What I remember? Hmmm... a lot of things, but what first got me into reading your blog was your post on starting "the masterpiece" *lol* - my thoughts were: "here we have a woman who makes such beautiful quilts (I had been looking before, just not reading all that much), and yet she shared my longing for that one amazing quilt - and she was brave enough to go ahead and start making it!" - I really hope you'll have your masterpiece, Bren! Then there is your venture into clothes making - love the apron, but how did the skirt come along? Then there is the warmth and feeling in the way you write about your family and loved ones :o) Your blog is special, thank you for sharing, and for being you! Take care! And have a wonderful Sunday!
congrats on your 100th post I must say all your posts are good to read but the one that has tiouched me the most is the Charlotte Grace post I always new there were angels in this world but you just confirmed it for me.Hugs Beth
Congratulations Bren!
My favourite post........how to choose as I have enjoyed so many but, like so many others, the stories of how Charlotte and Zachary came into your life are the ones that brought tears to my eyes.
I love the bags you've done for your blog prizes.
I'm still looking forward to seeing pictures of the skirts :)
Congratulations again - I'm looking forward to the next 100 posts!
Congrats on your blogiversary!
I am envious of your home-schooling your children, kinda wished I had tried that. My oldest would surely have benefitted.
I take away a bit of peace from your blog. In these crazy dayz, peace (as always) is a good thing.
The thing that touches me most about your blog is your positive attitude and honesty. It is really refreshing to see. I love coming to your blog each day!
I loved the stories of how you came to be mum to Zac and Charlotte. I admit I cried !! You definitely have a talent for writing and I visit your blog every day.
definately the Idolatry.
had made me think abour not just WHAT I watch, but WHO.
The other thing is the WHY I watch certain programs, and it has een enlightning, afraid to say, uncormfortably so.....
Congratulations on your 100th post. I really enjoy reading your blog and your comments on my blog. I particularly enjoy reading stories about your family.
Happy 100th post!. I love the way you are so open about your faith in God and how He is an important part of your life.
Wow Bren look how many lives you have touched already! I think the most memorable for me was learning about Zach and Charlotte. You know I think the world of those kids. Also I have loved watching you grow in your embroidery skills and your sewing projects. I also enjoy the posts about your Mom and her embroidery projects!
Congrats Bren!!
I think the most memorable thing I have found from reading your blog is what a wonderful, loving mom you seem to be to your family (both biological and adopted). My impression of your home is a very warm and loving place to be. The world needs more people like you.
Dear Bren,
Knowing your blog has been a blessing to me.
Among so many interesting and inspiring posts, I was moved to tears with Charlotte and Zachary stories, and the way you said YES to the Lord : soooo much love !
Your constant search for good home organization, and your use of the "Home Management" folder, as a tool to reach your goal, have been sooo interesting to me !
("Shine your sink, Nadine !")
Then your quilting and stitching, of course, and your "masterpiece" that I can't wait to see.
I could mention many, many other points, like the way your faith is part of your daily life... Actually, every post of yours is like a surprise to me, there's always something to learn and grow, and I wish to THANK YOU for that.
HUGS & smiles !
NADINE
Congratulations! I just like coming to visit....a nice comfortable friendly place. I did enjoy reading how Charlotte and Zach came to be with you and your daytime soap realization. :)
Congratulations on your 100th post! I'm sure you have given all of your readers wonderful moments and memories. I'm a new visitor, but I doubt I'll ever forget your home management binder and those amazing pages that fill it... I'm still in awe!
Hey Bren!
Beautiful bags! I'm glad you have gotten over your bagaphobia!
I love reading all your posts but the ones which have especially touched me are the ones where you talk about your children - how Zachery and Charolette have come into your lives, the stories you have about Kyle, and even the cute pictures of TJ.
You also taught me how to clean my sink :) and have given me some great tips on organization. You inspire me and make me anxious to get back into some quilting.
Congrats on 100 posts! I look forward to reading the next 100!

Congrats on 100 posts! I haven't been reading your blog for very long, but I quite liked your fruit basket block that became a flower basket with embroidery! Very clever!
I just recently started reading your blog, and the first post I read was when you had the birthday party and made the pie that all the candles melted on top of! I enjoy your site because it is evident God is in control of your life. I read your blog every evening.
Susan
How come I am so late to see this!
I think one of your post's about Charlotte touched me so much! Also the one, where you told us about reluctantly taking on Zachary.
I enjoy visiting, & hope you keep on blogging!
Your post about the home management binder was right up my alley.
Congrats on the 100th milestone.

Hey there sweet friend, How on earth could I choose just one entry? but the one that will always stick in my mind, is the day when you emailed me with the title HELP!!!!! and on that day we spoke to one another for the first time, and both knew that it would be a long time friendship. I know I am blessed every time I either read your posts, chat with you in emails or talk to you on the phone. It's so uplifting to know that we will always have our faith as our connection before anything else. Well I've rambled on long enough, I'm sure you get the idea....... Hugs to you my friend.
I love your blog, and your good common sense and good humor dealing with Life. The post that brought me to my knees was Grandma's Sweater - I had to leave the room.
Blessings and congratulations for 100 wonderful posts!
Hi Bren, I love your blog as you sort through a lot of the same concerns and quandries as me...the organizing folder leaps to mind, as do many others, happy 100th Tracey

Congrats to you on your 100th post. There are many things I think about but one that I always remember is your "tackle it tuesday" posts. They are always inspiring to get the small stuff done.
Congratulations on your 100th post!! I just went through your stories of Charlotte and Zachary and left comments on each. You know your Shepherd's voice; you have listened and obeyed that voice. As a result of that you and your family have forever changed the lives of those children. Your story is one that is powerful. Thank you for sharing it and your life through your blog.
Congrats on your 100th post. I enjoy all your posts but the one that really caught me was your telling of how Zachary came to be yours. So touching!
when you were trying to sew and ringing Linda amused me and confirmed how nice blogland is..........people will just help...
..... and when you left a comment somewhere that was soooooo nice about me.........it was a great moment for me to read something so nice.......lucky I left a comment after you and found it although I know you didn't write it for me to read on purpose.........so very kind of you ....it touched me.......thankyou
Congrats on your 100th! There are so many stories and reading everyone's comments just about sums it up. I am content and happy and have a clean, shiny sink everyday.

Bren,
You have many memorable posts - I love reading them and seeing your quilts and that you hand quilt and reading about your home and your children but the most memorable post to me is the recent post of Kyle. He is an amazing young man and I know you are so proud of him. I showed that post to my son, Eli and explained that blogs just aren't about quilting, but peoples homes and children and their lives.

I want to enter :) I love your blog because I Think we are long lost soul sisters and also because you push me to be a more Christ like Christian :) xoxo melzie
