BABY DAY!!!!

UPDATE: 12:30 pm....still mild contractions. They will do another check at 2:30 so we will know more then. Rachel has been resting and napping all morning. I told her to GET TO WORK!!!

We should have a baby today!! Rachel was suppose to go into the hospital last night, but they called and said there was no room....sounds familiar somehow. Anyway, she was to be there at 5 am this morning and they would skip the cervical softener and go straight for the pitocin. I just talked to my son and she is on the med and having contractions. I will update this post through out the day, so check back...updates will be at the top of this post so you don't have to read through this ramble again.

I told the kids I wanted a pic of the two of them before they went off to the hospital. My smart-aleck son did this.....Look at that face...."There ya go mom. That one was for you!" Your a riot, Bud!!!

TJ spent the night. He did a whiney cry (not a full fledged cry) and told Rachel, "I can't sleep at Grandma's house, I have to go home." I was the opposite of upset...it made my heart feel good that home is a safe place for him. After they left he was fine and never said another word about it. I tucked him in and a few minutes later I heard, "Grandma....I need sompin." "What do you need TJ?" "I need a yogret." We got up and had some yogurt and then he went right to bed...only 45 minutes late. He is still sleeping this morning.OK, I am off to start my day. I am "on call". If they need me I will be there. If not, I will go up as soon as Emerson is born. I kinda hope she needs me....Remember to pray for Rachel and Emerson!!!!
