Indulge Me

Tonight I feel old. Really. Old. Tomorrow I will feel younger I am sure. My little TJ went home tonight after spending 3 days and nights with me. He was a delight!!! I loved my time with him. He sure does love that baby sister of his!!! Kisses and hugs....lots of them! My kids met their new niece, Emerson today. Charlotte still had a cold, but did see her. Emerson made great eye contact with her. Kyle thought she was great!
Emerson also met her Great Grandfather (my dad) today. He thought she was pretty special too.She gave him some lovin' right back!!!A couple of good neighbors stopped in with gifts. They both brought TJ gifts too. That was so nice. All in all, Emerson had an eventful first day at Grandma's.
Paw Paw (Sweetheart) saw her last night at her own house, and fed her a bottle. He was very excited! She is such a blessing.I know you will indulge me with another post of "Emerson" pictures!
Actually, she was tired of today's photo shoot and fell asleep under a cover of love.

Everyone is safely tucked in, in their own beds, and I am going to spend some time with Sweetheart before going to bed myself.

Tomorrow I will spend the day getting my house cleaned, laundry caught up, and a special "Rachel" dinner made. She loves BBQ Ribs, so I will make dinner for them and also bake some Toll House cookies. They are favorites of both Rachel and Sweetheart. It will feel good to get back into my routine as I let it all go while TJ was here. Being Grandma was more important than mopping the floor!

Thank you for all the beautiful comments about my new granddaughter. I know a couple of you are expecting new grand-babies soon....I will being praying for you!!! I SO appreciated the prayers from all of you!
Have a blessed night.

We all love to see pictures of babies, especially of grandchildren of dear friends. I hope to meet her in person soon.

Oh you're a granny again, how exciting. Congratulations to Rachel and Bud. I missed the big day, no internet. Tried to phone you today, but no answer. Catch up with you another time. (Hugs) Granny.

Oh she is just lovely!!! Her eyes in one picture look like her daddy's, I think. It blessed me to see her snuggled under the afghan...but what a beauty she is, you lucky grandma, you!!!

I love the pictures. She is an absolute doll baby. I just love babies. Those I can cuddle and those I can just look at from afar. Give her a big hug from all of us here in Oklahoma.
