Yes, Bunnies and Baskets...that has been my thing lately!
My days have been so very full. I am focused on so many different things right now and there is not enough time in each day to accomplish what I desire to accomplish. Still I have accomplished some. The Peter Rabbit quilt is finished. All hand quilted and bound. It turned out very nice. The bunnies all became 3 dimensional with the quilting.
The colors are beautiful.
Of course, the back is full of stitches that just need to be shown.I got it all wrapped up and ready to take to it's new home. (look Nancy...the bottom of my tv screen is in the top left hand corner. Recognize it? Yep, Fox News!)
My dear friend Candy (who just happens to have a Peter Rabbit room) was thrilled with her new quilt. She said with a catch in her throat, and I quote, "No one has ever made me a quilt before." Awwwww. I was honored to gift her with one made in her favorite theme.
Now I can poke away at the Pink and Brown until the baskets are ready for the hoop. That poor 'ol Pink and Brown....I am it's fair-weather friend! Still, it is faithful to be there for me when there is nothing else ready for the hoop! I better get going on those baskets!!!

It is gorgeous and your friend is rightly delighted with her gift. Nice to see you back - Charlotte did a great job of holding the fort - her posts are always lovely x

I love the Peter Rabbit quilt, it is so pretty! You have been busy, Miss Bren!
Bren, your Peter Rabbit quilt turned out just beautiful. I am glad that your friend was so touched by it. Sounds like you have been busy, busy. I hope your garden is doing good. Ours looks good, but we have had lots of rain. Have a good day, my friend. Winona
Gorgeous, Bren! My mum said the same thing when I gave her her quilt "Nobody has ever made me a quilt before", makes it very special, doesn't it?
You sound very blessedly busy at home, I hope you're enjoying!

ARGGG!! I read blogs to get AWAY FROM FOX NEWS!!! Hubby is out of town tonight, so I get to watch 'So You Think you can dance". YIPPEE!!
Lovely quilt. I so admire someone that can and will take the time to hand quilt. I just can't. I don't enjoy it...
Bren~ Your quilt is just beautiful, I wish I knew how to hand quilt, or any kind of quilting. I seem to be quilting challenged!! Is there such a thing?? Hope you enjoyed your blog break. I am taking a short break this week from posting but I am still visiting blogs. I am really just a mess right now, Matthew leaves in 4 days!
Blessings,Joann

Your Peter Rabbit quilt came out great!
