I think I am going to love Tackle It Tuesday! It will help get those jobs you don't really think about done. I plan to use mine to do "odd" jobs, not daily cleaning. Today's plan was a BIG job, but I decided to save that one for next week when I will have nothing else on my to do list, or take 2 days to do the job. For this week I decided to do the pantry. It is self explanatory so I will just put the before pictures on the left, and the after on the right.
These next two drawers do not have before photos, as I just needed to wiped them down. I moved my cookbooks to the bottom drawer that was not being used.
The top of the pantry just needed a straightening out.
This entire job took about a half hour. Other than the top drawer (first photos) it was not too bad. Mostly needed straightening and wiping down. I have a beautiful spice rack that Sweet Hubby and the kids got me a couple of Mother's Days ago, so that top drawer has become a catch all as it use to be my spice drawer. Those hot spots will catch fire if you don't watch them!! Be sure to check out other Tackle It Tuesday posts! OK, now I can sew!

Hi Bren, thanks for stopping over at my place and leaving such a nice compliment. I think I've been here before, but sometimes I forget to hit that add to favorites button...sory!
You have a really great blog...love the organization links I sure DO need them!
Your pantry looks great and now you can sew with a clear conscience. Think I'll link over and see what it's all about. Hugs, Finn
Great job on the pantry. I need to do mine again even though I just did a few months ago. I think the messy monster lives in there well maybe in my whole house lol!
I need to follow your organizational skills. A great idea to designate a day for a "special" cleaning project.

THAT is an inspiring entry - I like the idea of a task a day. Now if I could only do it instead of flaking out on the couch, LOL! Great Job!

Doesn't it feel good to just clean up something that has been bugging you. Have fun sewing!
You did a wonderful job in such a short period of time. I'm still tackling :(
Oh, BTW, the pictures are up that you hoped I would post :)
Great tackle! It's amazing how much better and organized the pantry can be with a little elbow grease.
