Nice Matters Award

Linda gave me this award for "being such an awesome friend". My heart is warm and fuzzy!! You too are a special friend Linda and I feel like I have known you for years.

This award is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also, for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world. Once you've been awarded please pass it on to 7 others who you feel are deserving of this award.

Now everyone on Linda's award list would have made mine too. I love all those ladies and they have all inspired me. I have come to think of Margaret as a close friend, and Darlene is about the most generous person I could come across. I don't think you could find a quilter that does not come under the description of this award. Since Linda already gave the award to some that I would have chosen, I will get to throw this out to even more deserving bloggers. Some are quilter's and some are not, but they are great inspiration and very nice! And Nice Matters!!

I assume Linda came up with this award since I did not read that anyone gave it to her, or she snatched it to give to others. Either way I want to officially award it back to her!

So my first award goes to Linda for her outreached hand of friendship. When I first started blogging I made a horrible mistake on my blog. She reached out to help me fix it and has been a close friend ever since. I so enjoy my phone calls with her several times a week. Thank you Linda for your friendship.

Next is Sue. Her blog Quilting Chatter is new, but she has been my friend for 24 + years and she is a huge inspirational asset to the blogging community. She is on the shy side, but easy to get to know.

Joni is one of the kindest women I could meet. She has reached out to me and my children and I feel like we have a very special connection. Her daily posts are full of interest and I so enjoy her.

Karolee is the most adventurous lady! She has a deep love for her God and her family and plans to hunt with a bow! She has my admiration.

Copper's Wife (Cheryl) has made me want to be a better wife and mother. Her devotion to God, her husband, children, and grandchildren can not be compared. She runs her household with a love that you can sense across the world wide web. I always read her blog in the morning with my coffee, a smile on my face, and a determination to be a better version of me.

Meggie who has the unbelievable gift of making anyone laugh. I mean LAUGH!!! This lady can tell a story! You are a sweetie and you are not kidding anyone...we all know that GOM (grumpy old man) is a real sweetheart himself!

Belvie who I am convinced is a friend anyone would want to have. She recently had both of her children move on with their lives in a different state and her life as an empty nester began. Though she misses her children terribly, she is showing courage and a great talent for hand applique!!!

Kim, who like Meggie will make you laugh even on one of her bad days! She has a great talent for quilting and life! I never miss one of her posts!

Melzie whose blog was one of the first one's I ever read. She has a love for her kids and her husband that is deep. She is a fun mom and faithful to her friends and church. I still read every time she posts!

Libby who has such a sweet spirit about her. She is still madly in love with her husband after 28 years of marriage. Her lifestyle is something to be admired. She inspires me.

OK, so I know I went over 7...I am a home school teacher you know! I could keep going but I will leave some bloggers for these ladies to award. Especially Sue, who, I left some I know she will want to give out. ;) This is really not fair as I have at least a dozen more awards to give out!!! I am thinking I spend too much time on the computer.

Thank you Bren. I am honoured & very humble to think you would think of me. You know I can be very irreverant, but I do try to take things lightly & have some laughs along my way.
Now I will have to think about it...

*blush* Thanks so much for thinking of me. Sometimes I think I live to the beat of my own drummer . . . but I like the rhythm *s* Oh and Hubby is just so incredibly cute it makes me smile just to think of him.

First - congratulations on receiving this award! You certainly deserve it - and if you hadn't awarded it to me, I certainly would have picked you. I admire the way you took two children who needed a family into your home to love and raise them. You are a true testimony to the Love of God.

Secondly - Thank you for passing the award on to me. I have never thought of myself as adventurous before, but I am glad that my love for my Lord and family shows through my blog. Those words mean more to me than the award (which, by the way, is also my first award).

You're making me want to go read the blogs of each and evry one of your nominees!
If only I had more time.......
One thing I am sure of is that each and every one of your blogging friends is very deserving of their special award.
Bloggers are the very best!
