Sweet Hubby has been on "vacation" all week, however, we have done nothing vacation like. Until today...a fishing trip at Pierce Lake. It was a beautiful day!! Temps were 78 degrees F. and the breeze was wonderful. The whole family went. We found a beautiful area all to ourselves and ate a picnic lunch that I packed for all of us. The guys set to fishing right away. Here are all of my "men". From the front, to the back, Zach, Sweet Hubby, Kyle and Bud. Well the little man was there too. But he was confined for a while. ;)
Ok, I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. And what did Rachel and I do while everyone else was fishing? We stitched, of course!
So, Sweet Hubby, although you work so hard and you have spent your vacation working on major projects at our son's house and here, I am glad you got one day of "vacation"!!! You deserve it for all you do for us! We Love You!

Wow Bren you have been a busy girl! Glad you enjoyed your day out and everyone was doing their preferred activity!
Charlotte's new quilt is gorgeous - aren't you lucky to be receiving such lovely parcels?
It looks like it was a great day. Did everybody get their quota of fish??
When I was young we would go fishing as a family and my mum would bring a frying pan, butter, flour and bread. If we didn't catch fish we didn't get lunch (except a bit of white bread). We sure worked hard to catch fish - LOL
Oh what a lovely day you had! Cherish those memories. I miss the days of when my boys were young and we did things family things like this together, even though the boys were always arguing!
What a lovely day....it looks so nice there. And you got to stitch too...what could be finer.
I'm green with envy, what a wonderful day you must have had. I love days like that, it brings back memories of when my kids were younger and we'd pack up a picnic and go to the river or the beach.
That looks like the perfect family day out to me.
It looks very peaceful and a nice place to enjoy your stitching.
Looked like a beautiful day and a fun time!
My husband would have skipped the fishing and brought the ski boat.
Very cool but you didn't tell us what you caught??? Who caught the biggest fish?
Congratulations, Bren!
Very nice work, thank you
Awww that is so sweet!
