Menu Plan Monday

I decided I better jump back into menu planning since I want to cut my food bill in half. Here is the week:

Monday: Niki's Swiss Steak with oven rice and green beans

Tuesday: Pork Fried Rice and egg rolls (using left over pork roast from Sunday and oven rice from Monday)

Wednesday: Joni's Bierocks, salad

Thursday: Chicken Fahitas with leftover chicken I froze from last weeks Roaster chicken

Friday: Cheeseburgers on homemade buns, fried potatoes, corn

Saturday: Spaghetti, homemade garlic herb bread

Sunday: Chili with shredded cheddar cheese, homemade bread

Baking for the week: Oatmeal raisin cookies, bread for my home and Rachel's, Melt in your Mouth cookies, Apple Crisp, Niki's homemade buns.

I mention the "leftover" meat in my menu because I would have normally thrown these in the frig, forgot about them and then had to throw them away on frig cleaning day!
Check here to see what others are planning to eat this week.

Bren, your menu looks fantastic and I see so many frugal touches in there! Great deal on the pork loin. You will have meat to cook for several meals from that!
